This is an intervention on a picturesque inactive aqueduct that used to irrigate the surrounding fields. Recently the water turns through a water transfer into a waterfall and ignores this place. There is no longer water streaming underneath and on the aqueduct. After this place lost it’s function it became a place to dump garbage.
I cleaned the space and put white ceramics with a blue line in the middle, like a pool, on the floor of the aqueduct. The sound of the waterfall makes the place a pleasant place to stay. The work was a proposition for a public space and a meeting point. People thought it was a nice proposal and thought of ways to continue the first made step and came with ideas for benches etc.

State of the work in 2005
When encountering the work 2 years later it became clear they never really took the initiative to develop the space further but there were some traces of use and informal meetings.
