Neue Konzepte

This group exhibition 'Neue Konzepte' investigated the relation between contemporary artists and conceptual art practices of the 70's. I presented my the part Gestures of photographic archive and research (a 3,5 hours photofilm) with the list of categories and the pocket publication. I made walks in Bonn for one week and added the pictures I made to the archive, which created a possibilitiy to recognise the local surroundings added to a conceptual archive which is ongoing and developed world wide.

Gestures Research
This part of my research is based on gestures. Examples of these gestures are found in the way that elements are adapted, concealed, demonstrated, mirrored, constructed, and so on. I systematically photographed how such modes of spatial organization could be investigated as gestures made to organize, maintain, or sometimes disrupt a certain order in our lifeworld. The focus on gestures gave form to an archiving of autonomous places that would only in the greater collection of photos establish relations with other places and gestures.
