D.O.S.S. Archive

This archive was a research on certain specific aspects of the organisation of and the representation of space. The archive consisted of a collection of photographs of spaces and situations. The images were mainly collected from newspapers and magazines. All the images were taken care of in a similar way and were of equal importance.

By adding certain qualifications to the images of the spaces we discovered connections between spaces that we didn't noticed before. In a way this archive made us more aware of the way we experience space. This archive resulted in a highly complicated system with over 750 categories of different combinations of qualifications.
