Still Waters Run Deep presents: Film night: Aquatic Tales
Thursday 21 juli 2022 / 19:30

Aquatic Tales presents three films that merge elements of documentary, fiction and abstraction, with water and aquatic life as central elements. The night journeys from a microscopic view of microorganisms living in the Oslo Fjord, hidden to the naked human eye; to an encounter with algae in Roman baths, laboratories and a glass of water; finally zooming out to the violent destruction of oil and gas platforms that have been lifted from the sea. The films reflect upon our relationship with water and thereby express a critical view on industrial and capitalist practices that distance us from nature.
